AirPods Pro 2 Firmware Not Updating

Hi everyone. I have an airpods pro that has been sitting unused for like a year. Recently, i lost my old airpods so i decided to start using this again.

But, it has alot of issues. When i connect it to my iPhone 14 Pro (updated to the latest ios26) its not working at all. Usually when an airpods is connected, the volume bar should have a airpods icon there. But its just the normal speaker icon there. Besides that, when i start playing audio the app crashes. Like apple music would freeze when u play something, i've tried with some other apps, once i start playing audio, it freezes my phone!! So i looked up this issue online, and found out its probably because of the old firmware version my airpods has. Its still on 5A377. I've tried updating it.. with all the ways ive seen online. Closing the cap, charging it for more than 30 mins with my other device around it. I've reset the airpods multiple times but it still doesnt work! I've been trying out for 2 weeks already. But it is still on 5A377. Btw, the airpods works fine on my mac and ipad. It's just weird on the iphone. I would really really appreciate your help. Please help me TT
