Create slideshow/video using images (.img)

I have a lot of photos in a shared iCloud space. They are from 2 iPhones so their numbering doesn’t match up.

I selected about 240 of them and put them into a shared album. Unfortunately when I look at them as a video, not all the photos show up. I dont want to leave any out.

Next I shared the 240 photos to my files folder. I renamed them all so they would be in the sequence I want them to be in the slideshow. Unfortunately I cannot figure out how to make a video out of these .img files.

I also tried using iMovie but it wont look at my shared albums, only plain albums.

I’m at a loss of what to try next. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi there, you can have up to 500 items in a slideshow created by the Photos app. To do this: Open your shared album in Photos > Start the video by clicked the play button (▶️) > Open the options menu (3 dots at the top on iOS 26) > Tap Manage photos > Select all the items > Tap the checkmark or done button

Thanks. I can get something like this to work, not in the exact steps you mentioned. But now I’d like to rearrange them. Do you have any tips for doing that?
