Group Text Issues "you left the conversation"

In group text messages I'm having two issues that I think are related:

1) I get continuous "you left the conversation" message lines. I have not left the conversation. I still see all the content. Other people on the thread do not see the message lines I see.

2) When I look at the group members for these threads, I'm always listed as a member. So it will say "Beth, Susan, and Me"....but the ones where I don't have this issue just list "Beth and Susan."

This seems to only be happening on group threads that contain an Android user.
