Keynote File mismatch when shared

Hello! My boss was trying to share a slide deck with me and the file my computer received had totally different slides. Like a slide that should say (Welcome to Event), says (Event starts now). Not a mismatch of font style or size, but totally different content. We tried sharing via google email, and downloading as a keynote file, and airdropping the file yielded the same results.
