This is a simple issue. I have blocked multiple #s, have returned “stop” messages, and sent countless “Delete and Report Junk” responses to text messages asking for funding for Trump. The #s are all over the map. How can I stop this without changing my phone #?

There is no such feature for blocking any message by a keyword. You can try one of the many spam blockers available in the App Store. Another option is to send a feature request using the Feedback link.
Apple does allow you to filter messages from unknown senders so they do not fill up your known conversations.

For Political Texts, review the information provided here, where there is also a link to file a complaint with the FCC. It is Congress that makes those rules though, so they have conveniently sidestepped any attempts to completely eliminate them.
