How to remove the 'quotes' panel in an email on iPhone?


I have a "quotes" panel appear in an email I have composed, how do I get rid of it?

Here's how you can typically turn off the automatic quoting and indentation in your replies:

  1. Go to Settings on your iPhone.
  2. Scroll down and tap on Mail.
  3. Scroll down to the Composing section.
  4. Look for a setting like Increase Quote Level and toggle the switch to the Off position.

When this setting is off, the quoted text (the previous email in the chain) will no longer be automatically indented with a colored line when you reply or forward
