Is there a way to remove instagram reels and youtube shorts while keeping the native app?

Hi all,

I'm trying to determine whether iOS provides any way to detect when a user opens specific view/content types inside apps (for example: Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts), or alternatively to filter/block those content types while keeping the native app installed.

What I've tested:

- Using Instagram/YouTube in Safari, I can see elements and requests that allow me to hide/bypass Reels via content blockers.

- Using the native apps, I cannot see any view-level logs or events — only that the app is open.

Question:

I know that it is possible on a android to remove Instagram reels and Youtube Shorts. But it is there a way to remove it while keeping the native app and that you don't need to go to safari?

Thank you in advance!
