Unable to access Google due to 'this connection is not private' error
Hi,
My MacBook can’t access google and certain websites for a month, when I try to search google (my default search engine is google) or use google.com, it keeps saying “this connection is not private”, but I can access other websites like Bing, Yahoo, even google email (but not through google.com, through the Chrome email add on).
I checked the “show details - view the certificate” the certificate usually shows *.facebook.com or *.instagram.com, and it says certificate name does not match input. But I’m using google, not Facebook or instagram, which confuses me.
Please help!
I have checked my MacBook date and time, they are correct.
I tired different browsers, cleaned the history, caches and cookies, still not working.
I have restarted my MacBook, updated my system (macOS 26), still not working.
My iPhone and iPad are using the same wifi as my MacBook, but only my MacBook has this issue.
