Looking for extremely accurate mouse

Hi everyone, I'm currently using a wired USB mouse for my older iMac. Upgrading to a Mac Studio M4. I do precision graphics work including photography touch up down to a single pixel. The wired mouse works great. I would like to explore the use of a wireless mouse. The past problems I've had with wireless mice are very tiny lag times, which requires repetitive, minuscule corrections to get the cursor, brush, etc., on the exact right spot. Over time, this becomes an irritating issue.

I'm seeking advise from artists, engineers or other Mac uses who have had similar issues with pin point accuracy and if they were able to find a mouse that could deliver the same results as a corded mouse.

Thank you in advance.

Yup. After focusing on a mouse with a high resolution/DPI/tracking spec, it comes down to what works for you. And that's mostly what feels good in your hand. A mouse that's too small or too large for your hand will always feel clumsy.

I also don't need the extra buttons various manufacturers slap all over the place. Useful for gamers, maybe, but not for my use. The M330 has three buttons. Left, right, and the center scroll wheel is also a button, which I always assign as a double click. That's all I ever need.

Warning on the M330. Logi redesigned it. Our older one works with their software no problem. A new one (which we sent back) isn't recognized by their own software! How dumb is that? Which is too bad because the shape fits my hand perfectly.
