Using cinema 30-in monitor with MacBook pro

is it possible to use a 30-in apple cinema with a recently-purchased MacBook Pro? The monitor has DVI and fireware cables.

Use a DisplayPort to dual-link DVI adapter. Single-link ones can't drive it at its full resolution.
