Email Hide my email not working

I did see previous questions closed without an answer so presumably is just an issue not being addressed but thought I would give it a go.

I created an account(s) using Apple ID (not Icloud+) and I'm not receiving forwarded e-mails. I've tried toggling the forward to button on and off and even changing to a different e-mail address but nothing works. I can't change the e-mail on the account I created as I need access to this one so going around in a circle.

I've rebooted phone, ensure I've updated to latest IOS, checked SPAM etc. but nothing is making any difference.

Are there any fixes for this?

Don't know the problem then.

Sorry worded badly. I’ve created accounts with 3rd parties using my Apple ID so in theory should be using the relay account created in hide my Email but any emails are not being received in my main address used in Apple ID

Why not have any email sent to your Apple ID email address sent to another email address. Apple gives you that option at the bottom of the of the list if 3rd party sites . https://account.apple.com/

If I receive any email from 3rd party sites it goes to my Apple ID email address (which I can say is very rare) and have never used the option I mentioned above.

I wasn't aware that you could create email accounts using you Apple ID but that used in iCloud. Interesting.

I did try changing the forwarding e- mail address already and that didn’t work.

It’s something with the relay account not forwarding.
