Copying a lot of photos from iPhone to Mac without wire ?

How can I copy within a few clicks thousands of photos from my iPhone to my Mac without a wire ?

The connector of my iPhone does not work anymore. In the past the photos were transferred automatically to Photos on my Mac. This stopped too.

There used to be something called Photostream, but that was discontinued a couple of years ago, since wit was replaced with iCloud. That is now the method of synchronizing pictures.

There's an app Photo Transfer - Wireless/Wifi that's apparently free on the app store. I haven't used it.
