Apple Pencil 1st gen won't connect with my iPad 10th gen

I have IPad 10th and pencil 1 and the original adapter usb c - lightning but iPad doesn't see pencil. previously I was used an app LightBlue and it worked but then didn't. I do everything exactly according to the instructions and it still doesn't work
