Moving iTunes library from Windows to MacBook

I am switching from a Windows desktop to a MacBook and I'm trying to figure out how to move my iTunes library. I found a couple of articles in this community, but they were a few years old and I wasn't quite sure if they are still applicable to Tahoe 26.0.1.

I have copied my entire iTunes folder (50GB) on to a USB drive. I chatted with support and they told me to use the Add Folder to Library function, but while I see that function on the Windows system, I do not see it on the MacBook app.

Any help would be appreciated.
