Widgets disappearing after upgrading to macOS 26 Tahoe on Mac

A little bit late to the thread, I've also been encountering this. The way I've 'reset' it is by going into Activity Monitor and force quitting the Dock task. My widgets reappear on my desktop after that.

You can still add them to the side-bar by moving them in the upper right corner while in editing mode (accessible through the edit button in the notification side-bar)

Same here, Outlook (auto update beta channel) widgets went empty since tahoe 26.0.1 (25A362).

Have tried emptying /Library/Containers/ associated widgets and outlook.

removed the widgets and re-added restarted all that..

My widgets didn't start disappearing until I upgraded to macOS 26. All was fine prior to upgrade. I haven't been able to track when it happens. Sometimes I unlock my Mini and they're present. Other times I'll unlock and they're gone. I just let the monitors sleep not the computer. Pretty frustrating.

I've been on os 26.01 for a while, widgets just disappeared today. Opened computer up this morning and all of them are gone, they were there yesterday. Actually, I just realized, they are all now widgets in the sidebar? Before they were desktop widgets in the background. I guess I will move them back one at a time.

Sidebar? You mean Stage Manager?

Sorry, no I meant the right side, under notification center. In previous os versions you could only have widgets over there, before it allowed desktop widgets.

Just tried this. Don’t work for me. Just reloaded the Dock.
