Phishing scam from “Apple Support” on iPhone
While using my Safari browser on my iPhone, I just received a supposed “Warning! Security Data Breach!” of a virus infection of my “Apple device”. The warning was supposedly from “Apple Support TollFree” with a phone number and pop-up window saying ” “stafsat.site” Would Like to Access the Camera”. I did not respond to the pop-up nor did I call the number. A Google search indicated that the phone number was linked to Chinese text (in spite of the US country code) and the staffsat.site was too new for any info to be available. I tried deleting (swiping up) the Safari window several times but each time I launch Safari, the same warning message shows up. Meanwhile, I cannot use Safari. What do I do?
