I have messages set to sync between all my devices (iphone, macbook, mac mini) but if I delete a message on my iphone it still shows up in the message app on the other devices.
With Reminders, I'll mark a reminder as completed on one device but it'll still pop up on the OTHER devices.
What's the fix here?

The fix is to use iCloud if you want changes on one device to immediately appear on other devices.

Yeah. I already have iCloud syncing between all devices .

A hundred forty four thousand messages? Wow! I wonder how you would retrieve, say, the 26,802nd message.
Anyway, perhaps pressing “Sync Now” would help, as it’s been hours since your last sync.
