Bluetooth keyboard issue on iPad running iPadOS 26

Hi,

Since the update I'm having issues with Bluetooth keyboard. After the first connection the keyboard is working but after the keyboard is turned off if a try to use it again the Ipad doesn't connect to the keyboard. If a go to Bluetooth setting and try to manually connect it ask to be pair again and if a click on Pair after waiting a few seconds I got a message saying "Connection Unsuccessful, Make sure "Bluetooth keyboard" is turned on and in range" the only option I have is to forget the device and pair the keyboard again.

I already have try to restart the Ipad, forget the device and restart the Ipad and connect again but as soon as the keyboard is turned off the ipad cant connect again.

I didn't have this issue on IpadOS 18 and is kind annoying since a use the ipad regularly and need the keyboard.

If anyone have or had this issue please share if is possible to fix this.

Thanks

iPad, iPadOS 26
