AirTags no longer listed after upgrading to iPhone 17 Pro Max

Just got my new 17 pro max, upgrading from a 15 pro max. Everything went well in transferring data… except that my airtags are no longer listed and i get alarm notice that airtags are moving with me. I tried reconnecting with my airtags and nothing happens. Any ideas? Running ios 26
