iPhone 17 Pro Wireless CarPlay not connecting

Hello,

I’m using my iPhone 17 Pro wirelessly to connect to my Pioneer 4400NEX head unit and it will not stay connected. I have reset the Bluetooth and removed the car from car play and it will connect, but as soon as I turn the car off and back on it will not connect. I have to again remove the car and the phone from the head unit to stay connected.

I was using my iPhone 13Pro with IOS26 just fine until I upgraded the phone and now it will not keep a connection. Very frustrating.

I’ve read to turn off my Apple Watch as it may be interfering and it still does it. Also, I’m not using a VPN or anything else that would interfere with the connection.

Any help would be appreciated.
