Photos in Photo App, iPad Pro with os26 Images are blown up

Ok, hard to explain this. Images in the Photo App are being displayed filling the entire screen causing some images to crop to fit, not to mention the chrome (or glass I guess) is covering parts of the image. I don’t want this behavior. Am I missing a setting somewhere? Some images display fine. But most are being cropped.
