Why are all my game controllers auto linking to apple games?

I use an Xbox controller mostly, have a general Bluetooth one. With the IOS 26 update no matter what i do the “home” button directs me to apple games, and with games app deleted, it brings you to the website. Idk what capitalistic **** this is but it pretty much killed game compatibility on any controller as to “go home” to a menu or the emulators home app i cant cause it brings me to apple to spend money!
