Cellular Setup for Child Watch in Australia

Hi All,

We have recently bought our daughter a watch (for safety) and am trying to work out (in Australia) how to set up her watch so the cellular works. She doesn’t have a phone at this point and won’t for a while.

How do I go about getting a plan so she can use her watch? Would this require me getting a second mobile plan on my phone (as a dual sim) then connecting to the watch that way or are there other ways around it?

You will need to speak to your cellular service provider for service for the child's watch.

You can use Better roaming in Australia. There process is simple. The unfortunate thing though is that there is a software issue within SE3 and you cannot connect it for a family member. Apple Support confirmed that there is something wrong with their software but are yet to come up with a solution for an otherwise useless product.
