My iPad A16 has started to lag and stutter when playing games it didn't lag before when i was on os 18 but now thst i updated to os 26 its unplayable and in some cases i cant even back out of games. I play Call of Duty: Mobile a lot its a well optimized game and its unplayable now i used to play on max graphics now i cant even play on medium

When did you do the upgrade to 26? Sometimes all the necessary reindexing required after a major update can go for a couple of days.
Also make sure you have not left a browser page open. I am finding more and more web pages that stay active even in the background. This is especially true of sales pages with "add to cart" oe "buy now" links, including Apple's.
If you have nothing running in the background and it' been 4-5 days sicne the upgrade, use this to let Apple know.
They do not see or process complaints here.

I have the same problem and even more, there is so much lagging everywhere in scrolling, watching contents and gaming and i cant use my ipad anymore, although i dont have any apps in background and i have 80g free, no heating, everything is ok but to no avail the lagging is still here, i do a report for apple and i hope to fix that as soon as possible,

Same thing is happening with me, it lags for a bit and then returns to normal. But it keeps on lagging in between while I am playing

ya same, i literally just purchase a new one from apple a few days ago and i cant even play my games properly....
