Iphone doesn't show in finder under OS26

What worked for me (after verifying that the other things don't work):

Do on Iphone AND Mac: Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Accessories (bottom) -> temporarily set to "Always ask".

Can you verify the Locations caret is spun open...? Move your mouse to the right side to reveal it.

I did this (in fact it was already set to show). I've reset Location & Privacy, and reset Network Settings on the iPhone, restarted both the iPhone and MacBook Pro (both running the very latest system softwares), and still my mac won't see the iPhone. This was not a problem before the combination of iOS26.0.1 and Tahoe. I'm at a loss at this point. I guess a call to Apple is warranted.

This helped! Didn't think that iPhone would be listed under'CD, DVDs, and iOS Devices' and stopped reading after CDs and DVDs...
