How to restore WhatsApp group notifications in DND mode on iPhone?

when i used to put my phone on dnd all the notifications were grouped in the while in dnd mode section of the notifications bar. But it doesn’t do that anymore.. How to get that back? Are there any settings please help my WhatsApp notifications are a mess always and i dont want to see them with my other notifications.
