Suddenly there is a very thin vertical (dark) line on the screen for my Mac mini, how do I turn it off

The LG screen screen was dusty so I used liquid cleaner to fix it, and afterwards there was a very thin golden line and almost as its shadow a slightly wider dark line.???... and to the left side a blueish vertical line too.

The mini was ON and screen in "sleep" mode!

Maybe the cleaning set of some action I was not aware of, but I cannot find any where this might be changed.

I am a very experienced user but never seen this before

hope someone can assist.

The Mini is running 15.6.1

This sounds more like a fault or problem with the display, than with the Mac mini.

To find out for sure…

1) Test the display connected to a different Mac or PC.

2) Test a different display or HDMI TV connected to the Mac mini.

As it happens I have an old G5 also connected to the LG32UD99 and the stripes are there too, so probably a failure due to the cleaning... however gentle the sparay was applied

Yea’ it is the display.

You should never spray liquids or use wet towels on computer, displays, keyboards, mice, etc…

Likewise you should refrain from pressing on or poking display panels.
