Disappearing email drafts and webpages on Mac mini with LG monitor

Mail and webpages is a bit of a non-sequitur ...

I would turn off Stage Manager, Tiling windows, Widgets options and compare your results to get some control over your Desktop.

I concur with the others.

To get control of the Desktop behavior,

disable Stage Manager, Tiling and Mission Control.

Then once you feel more comfortable with macOS,

experiment with one or two of those features at a time.
