why cant I add my halifax debit card to my apple wallet? i have done everything humanly possible. I have removed both apps and reinstalled. I have been to the branch yet what they did did not work, I have spoken to apple support over the phone and I have blocked my card and got a new one. The bank dont seem to know exactly what the issue is. I bet I am not the first to face this sort of issue. Anyone has a solution?

Adding cards to the Wallet app for use with Apple Pay depends on several factors. First, the country or region associated with your Apple ID determines whether Apple Pay is supported there. Not all countries or regions have access to Apple Pay features. Second, the bank or card issuer must support Apple Pay and have registered with Apple to enable their cards for use within the Wallet app. If you’re having trouble adding your debit or credit card, it’s best to contact the card issuer directly to confirm whether your card is eligible and supported for Apple Pay in your region.
For instance, if you reside in a country like India where this feature is not supported, you won't be able to add your cards to Apple Wallet. --> Countries and regions that support Apple Pay
The card issuer must enable the "Add to Apple Wallet" feature.
