Can I use Egyptian cards with Apple Pay for purchases?

Hello

for many years since 2006 I have been using US apple account and I was struggling to fill out my account with apple gift cards or direct deposit in apple account for using in app purchases and as well for subscriptions , since I found the availability of using Apple Pay in region I get conclusion that payments will be easier using Egyptian cards with massive support from apple otherwise I can’t use my debit cards for any purchases even for apple plans subscription and I try to contact support in iMessage and I got shocked I have to schedule a phone call and there is a working hour as well so I have to deal with apple support in specific times by single contact method, any way hope more improvement in a service and.

if there is a way to verify my cards to use in my account I mean online payment not in person payment I will be happy to hear about it … many thanks

Apple Pay is used in physical stores and 3rd party websites. It has nothing to do with Apple subscriptions or app purchases.

Some Apps, like Uber or Lyft offer payment for their services through Apple Pay within the app though.

For App purchases, iTunes movie and tv show purchase and rentals and subscriptions charged by Apple, Apple Pay is not used at all.

You can add a payment method to your Apple account for those types of payments. Usually Apple requires the payment method be from the region the apple Account is set to, so if your Apple Account is set to the US, then you need US based payment methods.

You are of course free to change your Apple account's region to Egypt, to use Egyptian payment methods if you want.
