How can I stop Calendar from auto-filling events on MacBook Air?

This question was asked in December 2019 and there were no useful answers at the time:

Frequently, when I go to add new events in Calendar, when I start typing, it will auto-fill the details of a previous event, including recipients. It's very annoying. How can I disable this?

Now, in May 2025, it seems like the problem is still happening. Does anyone know of a way to fix this? For me, the problem is not only that it auto-fills the name of the previous event and the recipients, but that it supplies the time of the previous event, and I have to change it.

Or I have to keep typing different text (even if I want it to be the same, like 'Dentist appointment') so that it doesn't auto-fill the details.

Anyone have any advice? Anyone?
