How do I unlink my 6th gen ipod touch from my icloud?

I'm trying to unlink my ipod touch (6th gen) from my icloud. How do I do that?

If you have access to the iPod, sign out in Settings ➜ Account ➜ Sign out directly.

click here ➜ Sign out of iCloud on your devices - Apple Support


If you don't have access to the iPod, log in to https://icloud.com/find then look for your iPod in the list of devices, select it and click on Remove This Device.
