Can I force Safari Bookmarks to display without Favorites?

Some added Safari Bookmarks to the Home Screen create Web pages with and without the Favorites Bar. Why is that? I prefer without. Is there any way to force that? See screen captures.

Bookmarks: Safari. With sonoma, I see both an icon AND text.. I only want the text. How can I configure to eliminate the Icons.?
