Setting Up Gaming for Children in our Waiting Room

Who can I work with to establish gaming system options (apps) for the iPad stations in our clinics for the kids?

Unfortunately, Apple Arcade cannot be shared across devices in a business setting based on the terms of use.

For an MDM, you can purchase Apple Business Essentials starting at $2.99/device/month, Jamf starting at $4/device/month, Kandji starting at $4/device/month, Mosyle starting at $1/device/month, plus many more who don't have easy to access pricing. I have personally used all 4 of these, plus a few more. They're well worth the cost.

The most expensive is Jamf Pro for Mobile at $5.75/device/month. With 20 locations averaging 4 iPads, you're looking at less than $6k/year. There are likely additional costs if you're using an MSP, but if you have in-house IT, there shouldn't be.

Definitely connect with the business team at an Apple Store or head to https://www.apple.com/business to learn more about how Apple can support you.

You can subscribe to Apple Arcade on one Apple account and share it with up to 5 other Apple accounts each of which can have up to 10 devices associated with it for a total of 60 devices over Family Sharing.

Not sure whether comercial use like this is allowed in the terms of service of Apple Arcade though.

Our IT guy said they did use that, and it was costing 30k/year. Seems rather steep for 20 locations, with an average of 4 iPads per location. I see the subscription is $7/mo/host. Would that be per location? Moreover, if I use the Apple Arcade with up to 5 shares per household, why can't I share one account per location (consisting of 4 iPads per location). These are the issues I'm trying to resolve to find the best solution. If I went to an Apple store would they be able to answer my questions?
