Unable to play iCloud stored videos on my new iPhone 16

I got a new iPhone 16 a few days ago and it will not play any video stored in iCloud, except those recorded in the last two weeks. I get a spinning circle and it does nothing, even when I'm at home and on Wifi which is properly working. All videos still play on my iPad.

Videos stuck in iCloud not playing on iPhone Recently upgrade the iPhone to a newer version with more memory as my babies videos were filling up storage quickly restored the new phone from iCloud backup but the videos only play when connected to Wi-Fi I see them in iCloud so at least they are still there and I can play them when connected to Wi-Fi so that’s a relief but no good when out and about and sharing with friends cos they don’t play without wifi please help

update 18.1.1 cant veiw old videos I purchased a new iPhone 13 in March of 24. Only 53 GB used of 256 GB. After updating my phone to the 18.1.1 update, I can no longer view any videos I took before the update. The thumbnail of the videos appear but when I tap to play them the screen goes blank and there is no sound. However, the play bar appears to she the video is playing. I can take new videos with no issue but I would like to be able to see my old memories. I’ve worked with the photo settings but nothing has fixed this problem. Anyone else experiencing this? And what else could I try to fix this bug.
