Probelm with Garage Band while tryng to register with an audio card

I use a MacBookAir running OSX Sequoia 15.2.3. I use Garage Band with my Guitar. Recently I tried to register the Guitar using an audio card EDIROL that I connect to the Mac with his own cable and a converter cable to change from USB to type C. But something goes wrong because I get a strange and bad registation with strange sound.

I tried to do the same registration on another MAC using same guitar, same audio card, same version of the software, same cables and everthing it is ok.

So I disinstalled Garage Band from my mac and then I installed it again but it does not work (as in the first step).

I noticed that when I reinstall The process is very fast as if the Mac uses files that are already in the computer.

I think that the problem is in some configuration mistake that I have done and that stay there also if I reinstall the software.

Any suggestion?
