How to fix Finder folder search issues on iMac running macOS Ventura?
Finder search doesn't work, Spotlight search doesn't work either, even though the required files are in the question search folder

Does searching work if you select "This Mac", but not when selecting the current folder?
I have had this a while ago.
In that case, deleting the hidden Spotlight-V100 folder worked.
You can try this in Terminal:
sudo rm -r /System/Volumes/Data/.Spotlight-V100
You will be asked for your password. Type it (nothing shows as you type, that is normal), and press enter.
You may want to try and reset the Spotlight index.
In Terminal, do this:
sudo mdutil -E /
Thank you, Luis.
I did this in the terminal, but it doesn't work
Thank you so much, I am grateful for your support. Your assistance has truly made a difference. Finally, it worked. Thank you once again!
