Numerical text in graphs disappears in Keynote PDF output

When I output a document created in keynote to PDF, there is a phenomenon where the numerical labels on some graphs disappear.

Has this problem been reported?

This problem has continued since upgrading to macOS 15 (Sequoia) around December 2024.

See attached images

2nd capture: Keynote document

macOS: Sequoia 15.3.2

Font used: Yu Gothic.

I can't reproduce this.

Granted, my graph wasn't as complex as yours, but I created a simple graph, added some values, and opted for the labels.

Exporting as PDF, either via Keynote -> Export -> PDF or via Keynote -> Print -> PDF both created identical PDF images with the value labels intact.

So there may be something specific about your chart setup that's causing this. off hand I don't know what that might be.

Hi, thanks so much for your reply — and apologies for my delayed response.

I just wanted to follow up and mention that I’m seeing the same issue even with much simpler graphs, not just the one I initially shared.

Out of curiosity, are you running macOS 15 (Sequoia)? I’m currently on 15.3.2, and this issue started appearing right after I upgraded. A few colleagues using the same version have also encountered it.

Interestingly, it doesn’t seem to happen for those still on macOS 14, which makes me suspect it could be related to the OS update.

Would be great to hear if this lines up with your experience too.
