Apple AirPort dropping signal. Fixed

Apple AirPort Express, when used to play music Wi-Fi to the audio port I had a lot of dropping the signal. No mater how many times I reset it, would work for a bit, minutes, then start dropping the signal again. I really wanted it to work, the problem that I think it was having was the 2 different internet protocols. Newer equipment is not compatible with the older apple AirPort Express. I could look them up but why bother.somebody else can. My solution was to buy another, since they both have the same protocol if updated to the last update, 7.8.1, I connected my router by wire to one of the airports, created a new network, wireless connected the second to the new network, and it works just fine it’s been months since I had to restart, or had a problem.
