Can I change the name of the Hidden folder in Photos app on iPhone?

Apple now provides a “folder” in the App Library called Hidden which will only display the apps in that folder”folder” when either Face ID or passcode is used.

I want to rename this as the name Hidden is kind of a red flag - ie what’s in your Hidden folder - why is that in your Hidden folder why are you trying to Hide it So to Hide the fact it is the Hidden folder is there a way to rename it ?

This is a bit confusing, but I think that you might be talking about the Hidden view in Photos-- is that right? Hidden is in the Utilities section, and it's not a folder-- it's a special view provided by Apple to allow you to see the pictures you've marked "Hidden." Just like the Recently Deleted view or the Trips view, etc, you can't alter the Hidden view.

I can't imagine having someone flipping through my iPhone asking what things are, but in any case, if you want to hide the Hidden view, you can do that by going to "Settings>Apps>Photos>Show Hidden Album" and turn it off.

Does that do what you want?
