Yes, your Apple Card account has three different account numbers. The first is the titanium card. The number is magnetically encode on the mag stripe on the back of the card and embedded in the chip. This number may be obtained by skimmers when your card is swiped or the chip inserted.

The second number is the virtual number you can see in the card details section of your Apple Wallet app. Hackers can obtain this number when merchant websites are used and by man-the-middle attacks on public WiFi networks. Please note, expiration date and CVV number are not the same as the physical card.

The last number is your Apple Pay number. Only the last 4 digits are disclosed. The details are stored in the Secure Element and can’t be obtained even if an iPhone is hacked. Apple Pay is basically scammer/hacker proof and to date has never been compromised.
