Fraudulent activity after changing apple card number

My apple card number was hacked and I changed my card number but fraudulent activity is still occurring on my card b/c I'm getting notifications for suspicious activity for Uber charges. If I changed my card number how is bad actor still using my card to make transactions?

The number they are using is probably the physical (titanium) card number. The number on the mag stripe or chip was skimmed when you used the physical card.

Apple Card has three different numbers, physical card, virtual card and Apple Pay number. Your Wallet has the last 4 digits of each account number. Can you match the number used on Uber to one of the cards?
