Have been trying to delete songs in my iTunes library. I keep getting "do you want to hide song". No I want to delete it an d I have tried drawing it to the bin, pressing Option Delete nothing seems to work

If the music was purchased from iTunes Store, this is the option that you will get. Generally, music purchases are available to re-download as long as they are still available. If you don’t want the music to show as available, you select hide.

So you are saying that the songs cannot be deleted just hidden?
