Sharing iTunes playlist and music from external drive to another computer

I own a lot of physical music. I have a very long playlist that I would like to play on a second computer. My music library lives on a 1Tb external drive. I would like to be able to export a Playlist and play it on the second computer ... and I will attach my external hard drive to the second computer. There's got to be a way from me to do that, right?

Having had some difficulties in getting my music library, with the source music files stored on an external drive, to work both with my MacBook Pro and my older iPad mini, I was thinking I might try "starting from scratch" and building a new music library. I would eliminate all that and create one "Music" folder with all titles and artists there. consolidating music files onto an M2 MacBook Air I recently bought a MacBook Air M2. I have a majority of my music on a 2012 MacBook Pro in an iTunes file. In 2020 I bought an Intel MacBook Air which has more (different) music in a Music file. Most of my music was not purchased from the iTunes store but from CD's and online downloads since my musical taste are a little eclectic. I would like to consolidate the iTunes music file from the MacBook Pro and the Music file from the 2020 MacBook Air onto my new M2. How do I go about doing this. Thanks in advance. Tom

Can I sync Music app between two Macs? I sync music and videos in my Music app between my desktop iMac, and my iPhone. Simple. (I don't stream - all music and videos are downloaded from CDs and DVDs.) My question is, can I sync my MacBook Air with my iMac - like I do my iPhone - so I can carry my music and videos when traveling?
