Can Apple Watch Ultra 2 track open water swims and depth simultaneously?

On the Ultra 2, is it possible to both track an open water swim and have access to real-time Depth information, or are these mutually exclusive functions? I like to go for open water swims with a mask and snorkel, and sometimes stop to freedive if I see something of interest.
