Apple Watch showing random 'share contact' and Apple Pay alerts

I started to get random popup of my 'contacts' on my new watch to 'share contact' and then yesterday it went on for continuously vibrate and show 'share contact' for longer than usual time. Then it eve popped up Apple Pay's 'double click to pay' screen! This alarmed me and I took the Apple Watch off my wrist. I cleaned up the contacts list which included some extraneous items in it. I turned off Apple Pay on my apple watch.

Is this a security issue? Does apple know about this issue?
