Left airpod volume quieter and muffled

A few weeks ago, I fell asleep with my left airpod in. When I used it, It was quieter and muffled and when I used both airpods, there was an imbalance in audio. I’ve tried to reconnect my airpods, I’ve tried to readjust the sound and so far I haven’t found anything that worked
