In System Preferences>Keyboard>Function Keys I have unchecked "Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys (if it is checked, then volume control F10, F11, F12 do not work). I have tried restoring default is Display which defulats of F14 and F15 for brightness control and I have tried changing the shortcut to F1 and F2. Nothing works
