Parental controls not working/ passwords are ALWAYS incorrect

My daughter simply asked me to change her screen time settings and I tried accessing it through parental controls. Turns out you cannot change any settings because everything is in the grey area and not clickable. I’ve tried resetting my account and repeat the things that people had used, but it’s funny how Apple doesn’t take care of this issue. It has been YEARS since people discussed it here and there’s no solution for it. I have a feeling it’s better to use google’s family link instead because apple doesn’t seem to care about it. Please share if you have a similar situation.
