I am constantly receiving pop-up prompts for passwords to my CenturyLink email addresses. The most up-to-date operating systems are installed on my family laptop and iPhones. I have verified the passwords and server settings as correct. Anyone else having these issues with CenturyLink?

To Allan Andrews: Many of us have had this problem after updating to IOS 18 and CenturyLink is aware of it. Their web site advises us to use the CenturyLink Webmail service and that's what I've been doing since November of last year. Hopefully, Apple will resolve this one day because we don't believe the fault lies with Centurylink.
The issue is on Apple Mail side and not Centurylink. I've tried other email clients and Centurylnk Webmail with no connection issues.
No, Allan, I have not. I’m afraid we’re probably stuck with using Centurylink’s Webmail function as the only sure means of accessing received emails. Very frustrating. You’re able to use the CL Webmail, right?
Thanks for your response. We experienced the issue in OS 14 and in iOS 17 before upgrading to OS 15.2 on our MacBook and iOS 18.2.1 on both phones. Other than using Webmail, have you found any other workarounds? Thanks again.

I should add that we are able to connect intermittently to the CenturyLink server and download email. The account(s) can be offline for 5 minutes, then online for an hour, and then offline again. To the best of my knowledge we have not lost any emails. The use of CenturyLink Webmail is dependable.
